Trying to conceptualize disillusionment is an enterprise that tends to be vain, as we know that to express it, in its weariness, its loneliness, comes down to expressing a universal.

Thinking about disillusionment, assuming it, imagining it, accentuating it, exploring it, exploring its forms to at least bring out its contours, such is the motto of my creations.

My work is essentially focused on emotions, delivers a personal approach, which allows the viewer to enter a disturbing intimate. The faces are fixed, straight and frontal. They display their wounds.

They exhibit a state of physical or mental, psychic or emotional fatigue which can lead to discouragement. And yet they are there and continue to be in front of us, they assume to hold on, to move forward.

I show raw, exaggeratedly. Contrary to what is expected, I pose what everyone tries to hide, marks, stains, cracks, knots, everything is there to tell the story.

Highlighting the marks of time to reveal how difficult certain moments may have been, displaying sadness and flaws, showing the social mask to make the conventional fantasy of perfection obsolete.
